Getting there has always been a challenge, whether I’m driving or my significate other is. We both think we are faster than the other, but after a while I realized the amount of time required to get anywhere for the first time is the same in both cases. The only difference lies in the distribution of that moment. While I drive faster, I drive for a longer time because I spend around 2/3 of the time being lost, while she is slower, but instead of driving everywhere, she wastes 2/3 of our time asking for directions and talking to people on the way there. Realizing this, I think I’ll let her drive while I watch a movie, and we’ll save on gas at the same time!!

Why I’m buying veggies : the graph. Pretty ironic that a pie-chart is the best chart I thought of to depict this…

A little late, I know, but I had to get over the Colts missing the mark this year.
As always, Follow me if you enjoy what you see!

I have learned many things by working in a cubicle, and I couldn’t draw a graph that would enumerate all of them. But I tried to synthesize the most important aspects of what I learned to survive in this environment. I quickly realized that ‘business qualities’ actually went down along the years, while other ‘soft skills’, like knowing when to go to the copier after I’ve had exotic food for lunch, is something I am getting really good at.
As always, don’t forget to follow this blog if the graph makes you smile.

My attentiveness in meetings usually follows a curve I call the ‘sombrero effect’, depicted above.
Speaking of which, shouldn’t they learn in management class to never start a work week with a meeting unless you’re some kind on vampire and your goal is to drain your team’s energy?
Anyway, my strategy to look attentive is by nodding often, and from what I’ve seen over the years, I’m not the only one comfortable with this technique. Just make sure someone, somewhere, is taking notes, because eventually, you will be asked if you did what you agreed upon by nodding, and at that moment, ’yes’ is the expected answer…or so I was reminded.
Don’t forget to subscribe of you smibe (it’s better when it rhymes).

Loosely inspired by the ‘Times when I’m wearing pants’ Venn Diagram I stumbled upon on chartporn.org, this diagram aims to show that all men (except for one, but that is the past as we all know) are somewhat unfulfilled in certain areas of their life.

This graph represents how tech-savvy guys compare to others in the universal quest for sex.
I’m pretty certain some of you won’t agree with the curve, and if you don’t, the good thing is you’ll be able to tell me in less than 3 seconds with your smartphone, just after you’ve tweeted how unfunny this $*(?%?# graph is.
As always, your comments will bring me joy.

Here’s a simple graph on the level of trickery involved in specific questions asked by women. Once, I made the mistake of giving the wrong answer to the ‘hair color’ one. Never again, my friends…
